The finish is a new feature in the company’s cable tray product line and it protects the tray from weather and rusting.
Cable trays can be mounted on a wall, ceiling, cabinet or rack top, or underneath raised flooring. They are a cost-effective means of running cables within a data center, from room to room or from one building level to another.
The new cable trays come in multiple depths and widths. The 10-foot straight sections can be bent, cut and/or bolted to other tray sections to fit any custom configuration. They are made of lightweight but strong wire mesh, which allows cables to be ventilated on all sides to prevent heat buildup.
ShowMeCables offers the new line in almost 20 sizes, from as small as 2 inches wide by 2 inches deep, to as large as 24 by 6. In total, there are nine width options from 2 to 24 inches, and heights of 2, 4 or 6 inches. The 10-foot cable trays come in quantities of two, four, five, six or ten.
The new products are part of the company’s growing line of cable trays, which has seen recent expansions with 5-foot and 10-foot nickle-plated steel sections.
