Infinite Cares – Giving Back Locally & Globally

May 2023 | By Alex Arrieta, Chief People Officer

At Infinite Electronics we’re committed to our employees, the environment and the communities where we do business. We are also committed to using our resources to have a positive impact in this world. One of the ways we demonstrate this dedication is through Infinite Cares, our corporate social responsibility program. Through this initiative, we have invested in implementing sustainability efforts and supporting nonprofit organizations and charities through a wide range of volunteer efforts and donations.

This year, we’ve already completed a corporate-match fundraising campaign to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. We also just finished another corporate-wide environmental initiative to help plant trees with every online sale from many of our brands. This is in addition to the numerous local initiatives happening in communities where we have facilities. To give you a better idea of the scope of our efforts, here are a few highlights from our Infinite Cares initiative in 2022:

Helping Local Communities

  • Midnight Mission offers paths to self-sufficiency for homeless individuals in Southern California. Infinite Electronics is proud to be a sponsor of their Banquet of Hope. This annual event raises funds to provide meals, shelter, life necessities and hope to thousands in the community. As Infinite Electronics is headquartered in Irvine, California, it is important to us to support this organization’s work to help individuals on their journey to self-sufficiency.
  • The Infinite Electronics team in North Andover, Mass. came together to help Daybreak Shelter by collect household items for those in need. This program provides substance abuse stabilization services, educational services and emergency shelter services for the local community. Their mission is to empower people to reclaim their lives by gaining the necessary skills for a future filled with promise.
  • We also donated to Dallas Casa, whose mission is to protect children and restore their childhood while encouraging child abuse victims to embrace the promise of a brighter future. At Infinite Electronics’ Lewisville location, our employees collected gifts of toys, clothing and monetary donations to support local children during an exceptionally challenging time in their young lives.
  • At the holidays, Infinite team members helped spread cheer by donating items to an annual toy drive hosted by the North Andover Firefighters. This drive helps ensure that every child in the community will experience holiday joy and has a present to open. Gifts for all ages were provided and distributed by the firefighters.

Reducing Our Environmental Impact

  • In celebration of Arbor Day, Infinite Electronics reduced its impact on the planet by partnering with One Tree Planted, a non-profit dedicated to reforestation. This organization planted one tree for every order placed with our ecommerce brands, resulting in more than 8,000 trees being planted. Why trees? Because it is one of the best ways to combat climate change, a cause of significant importance to our company.

Global Relief Efforts

  • To support the people of Ukraine during the escalating humanitarian crisis in the region, Infinite Electronics partnered with Americares, a global non-profit organization that helps people during trying times. We matched employee contributions dollar-for-dollar to support Americares and their emergency response team on the ground offering health services to families who were directly affected by the war in Ukraine.

These are just a few examples of how we gave back locally and globally throughout 2022. Being able to directly make an impact on this world is why Infinite Cares exists. We are continuously looking for ways to create a meaningful impact through our philanthropic efforts and are excited to continue our work in 2023.
