Infinite Electronics Joins Time to Vote, Encourages Participation in November General Election

Non-Partisan Effort Includes Paid Time, Useful Tools and Resources for Voting

IRVINE, Calif. – Infinite Electronics, Inc., a leading global supplier of electronic components serving the urgent needs of engineers through a family of highly recognized and trusted brands, has joined Time to Vote, a business-led, nonpartisan coalition that aims to increase voter participation in U.S. elections.

As a participant in Time to Vote, the company will provide two hours of paid time off for employees to vote on or before Election Day, as well as connecting employees with resources to register to vote or confirm existing voter registration.

“As always, taking the time to vote is incredibly important and as a company we want to ensure everyone’s voice is heard,” said Penny Cotner, President and CEO. “We want to make sure our employees have the time and tools they need to exercise their right to vote this November.”

The non-partisan program at Infinite Electronics is an effort to create a voting-friendly workplace and enable participation, while respecting individuals’ privacy. One of the often-cited reasons for low voter turnout is the inability to find time away from work to vote. The Time to Vote program helps to alleviate this.

Founded prior to the mid-term election of 2018, Time to Vote is a nonpartisan, business-led initiative to help ensure employees across America don’t have to choose between voting and earning a paycheck. Nationwide participation includes giving employees access to, and information about, early voting or vote-by-mail options, offering paid time off on Election Day, or making it a day without meetings.
